My #parkrun 2022 Journey
This year's running targets are:
- To run 5k in 25:59 minutes or less [PB so far is 26:14 on 26/3/22]
- To reduce my weight to 10st 7lbs or 67kg by Clocks Back 2022 [Not a chance!]
- To run 10k in 55:59 minutes or less Achieved! [PB is 55:55 on 3/4/22]
- To run a minimum of 5 x parkrun new tourism locations Achieved! [Kilmarnock/Alstervorland/Ancholme Way/Cleethorpes/Fort William]
- To complete my 100th parkrun and get my 100 T-shirt Achieved!
- To complete my 50th volunteer stint and get my 50 T-shirt Achieved!
- To complete the 2022 Watchtree 5k Trail Series
- To complete the Carlisle 5k Series Achieved!
- To run my first parkrun abroad Achieved!
- To notch up a total of 10 x different parkrun volunteer roles by the end of the year Achieved!
Stretch Goals:
Run 5k in 25:55 or faster (the time I ran that distance in 2002 at age 37)
Run 10k in 51:41 or faster (the time I ran that distance in 2002 at age 37)

Preston, Barrow, Whitehaven, Talkin Tarn, Cleethorpes, Normanby Hall, Hamburg, Fort William and more 🙂
