My #parkrun 2024 Journey
This year's running targets are:
- To complete my 200th parkrun
- To complete my 125th parkrun volunteer
- To complete the Carlisle 5k Series (x4 runs)
- To run a 10k race every month of the year
- To achieve the ‘Jetsetter' badge (parkruns in 5 different countries)
- To parkrun in Denmark, Germany & Poland [all TBC!]
- To run the Glasgow Great Scottish Run 10k
- To run the AJ Bell Great North 10k 2024
- To run 10k events in Hull & Newcastle
- To run the Manchester AJ Bell half-marathon
- To run the 40th Cumbria Run half-marathon
- To get my weight below 11st
Ongoing Stretch Goals:
Run 5k in 25:55 or faster (the time I ran that distance in 2002 at age 37)
Run 10k in 51:41 or faster (the time I ran that distance in 2002 at age 37)

Whitehaven, Rothay Park in Ambleside, Ford Park in Ulverston, Poland and more [TBC] 🙂
