I can't remember if this was still ‘Mr Plum and Mr Apple', or if I'd moved onto something a little more sophisticated in 1976.
Looking bask as an adult now, this was a lovely, supportive letter and I was thrilled to receive it as a child.
The advice given still holds true today.
Sure enough, I have a copy of ‘Writers' and Artists' Yearbook' on my office bookshelf at this very moment 🙂
