This is another short story written at age 15 for our village news sheet.
You'll notice that I started using the pseudonym ‘Mercury' because I hated the one ‘Teezle' that had been thought up by the editor.
These were all heavily influenced by James Hadley Chase who got me into crime fiction in the first place.
Oh, and Agatha Christie's ‘And Then There Were None', I always loved that story.
