Names in The Grid Trilogy
Q: How do you choose the names in your books?
A: If it's a human name, I use the amazing name generator in my writing software.
That software is called Scrivener, it's a great tool.
I just keep generating names until I find one that works and fits the character.
Q: I hear that there's a secret about Reevil97 and TRaider97 .. do tell!
It's just a nod to my own, long ago, gaming history.
Before my kids were born, I used to play Tomb Raider 1 and Resident Evil 1 on my Playstation 1.
In homage to those Games I merged the game titles with their year of release … that gives us Tomb Raider 1997 and Resident Evil 1996
Okay, I know it's not the cleverest idea in the world, but I hoped that some gaming enthusiasts might pick that up.
